Date of dismissal or incident

For dismissal claims, this is your last day of employment. For discrimination, it's the date of the last act complained of.

From 1 October 2026 most tribunal claims get six months instead of three, but only where the act complained of is on or after that date. The checker applies the right limit for the date you enter.

My only claim is for breach of contract (for example unpaid notice pay or wrongful dismissal).Contract claims stay on the three-month limit after 1 October 2026. Leave unticked if you are also claiming unfair dismissal, discrimination or unpaid wages.
